Superhero fanatic turned superhero. 'Hero-vestite'.

Purchased, in an (online, presumably?) auction the rings of TNT and sidekick Dan the Dynamite.

Dyno-Mite Dan uses the devices supposedly worn by the golden age heroes: T.N.T. & Dan the Dyna-Mite. These devices were called the "dyna-rings."

It was suggested that since he wears the rings of 2 heroes, perhaps this explains why there are only 6 instead of 7 heroes in this version of the Soldiers. Perhaps one of the rings was originally intended for someone who refused to join for fear of his life. However, this has recently been disproven, in Bulleteer 2.

Dan's acquisition of the 2 rings may have been orchestrated by the Seven Unknown Men, since we have seen they altered Thomas Ludlow Dalt into "I, Spyder". He acquired them from Cassadra Craft, the magic-shop owner who is said to traffic in counterfeit Dyno-Mite Rings.

Dan's rings are confirmed to be extraordinarily convincing counterfeits, or "working fakes," in Bulleteer 2.

Dyno-Mite Dan's full name is Harris D. Ledbetter. His last name rhymes with 'bed-wetter,' a fact that no doubt caused him considerable frustration in elementary school.
