I've had no luck finding a JAMC version
It's on the second of their b-sides albums, and is actually pretty great. It sounds exactly how you'd expect it to; heavily fedback guitar, topped by a vocal from a guy that's apparently disgusted by the world, and everything in it.
I've not heard Nick Cave's take on it, or Leonard Cohen's, but the JAMC's morbidly sarcastic, fuzz-bassed reading of the thing sounded about right to these old ears, at the time. |
