Hiya, Papers!

I'm having a night of Warren Zevon and Elliot S! Maggin. And I'm glad somebody else asked the underwear question.

My friend admitted to crushing on Abe Sapien. Sadly, I had to wear pants.

I was crushing on Liz. She's hot!

Picky, picky. The both of you.

I think I'm crushing a bit on most of the cast.

How's the new Abe voice, though. It's the actual actor's voice this time, right? Am I going to miss David Hyde Pierce?

She was pretty hot alright -- and I enjoyed what they did with her more than in the first film.

I thought the FBI liasion--Myers--from the first film was pretty hot, but he's gone this time.

Doug Jones provides the voice. I missed DHP, but I think Jones did a decent voice job anyway.

Is it the heat? It's really hot. Hot. HOT.

Maybe, that's it. And I've been a SoCal desert boy for so long I think the humidity may be affecting me more than I'm giving it credit for.

Actually, I think I'm gonna take a nap. So, I'll catch you fine folks another time.

Night, all.

Something where Navy Seals beat up dinosaurs, apparently. I haven't seen that but feel I probably should.

I think I've seen a bit of that ... really not good. There are some Navy Seals, a couple of pretty ladies, some dinosaurs and some terrorists, and they're all running round an island. I only watched for a few minutes, but it didn't look as if there was going to be a great deal of plot.

I'm checking in intermittently because an old friend keeps interrupting me on google chat while I am trying to get my kitchen floor retiled before I get tired and sloppy.

What's up?

I hope you're tiling the floor in a giant tetris pattern?

Giant Tetris Floor. Only really a good idea if it had moveable tiles. Otherwise, that's just cruel. Especially if the game is just a couple descending blocks to the left from not being lost.

Well, the pattern you get just before the rows disappear. You know, squares in a row? I'm in a difficult spot. It's a narrow, irregular-shaped room and I'm working around the edges now, where you have to cut the tile to fit the space. I'm afraid I'm going to run out of tile--I had an error margin in terms of square footage, but I didn't anticipate this many wasted tiles--like, half the tile it garbage. I don't want to have to drive over to fucking Home Depot again tomorrow! There is nothing pleasant about the Brooklyn Home Depot.

That would be ten kinds of awesome.

I'm sitting here listening to the 30th anniversary edition Diamond Dogs and wishing I had a movie to watch.

I think I've only watched one episode of that show. I don't remember what happened but I remember it being decent.

Yep, definitely short on floor tile. Fucksakes.

Millenium?

Yes, it was pretty good. Russell Wong was a glorious vision of yumminess, Christopher Walken was Walkentastic, and Glen Danzig was in it for about 10 seconds before getting his heart ripped out by the aforementioned vision of yumminess.

Part 3 is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

No worries, Danzig only had two lines and a fight scene. His appearance hardly warranted his mention in the opening credits.

Well, personal opinion, but three's not as good. But, still, revelatory.

And, Keggers, what's holding you back from the goodness of P2? Get cracking, man, for the sake of your soul!
