Dr. Horrible

I scream for ice cream

Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long blog is up and running (well, unless it's crashed again).

Neil Patrick Harris pitches it perfectly, I think.

Anyone else seen it yet? The site is here.

The site has been crashed all day for me.

Seems to be working ok right now - have you had a look on iTunes?

Just saw it. Loved it. Wont spoil it. Want more of it.

That was brilliant because, well, anything that involves Nathan "Future Ex-Husband" Fillion is aces by me. Can't wait for the next two installments!

And has anyone else managed to see the next episode yet? More singing than the previous episode in this one, along with the MD's fall to the Dark Side.

I'm loving it.

Axolotl

Just checked this out and absolutely loved it. Neil Patrick Harris is great, Nathan Fillion makes an excellent superhero jerk.
Wheedon definitely likes his crossover duets from alternative viewpoints doesn't he?
It's also interesting due to it's origin from the writers' strike and the way it's testing a distribution method that's an alternative to the studios .

And that's part three up and digested.

Pretty switched from self-contained little story to a back story primer for something else down the line.

Surprisingly moving at the end, despite the usual japes and frivolity.

I'm not sure I liked that switch. I mean it was still good but it was a bit of a mood whiplash.

Can anyone find me a reliable link for parts two and three? Sorry for having the future husband down, but it seems I can only see the rest if I have one of those damned iPhones.

The iTunes store sells video in H.264 compressed movie files - you can play them on any mobile device with the codec, or on a computer in Quicktime 7. Although this is theory, since they are not available in the UK. I doubt they'd be making an exception, though. Otherwise, Youtube?

I've tried YouTube, Haus, but the copies they have are terribly vocally out of sync with the visuals.

So screwed again, I suppose. But thanks!

If you have a Windows or Mac computer, a credit card and $3.99 you should be able to use iTunes to download and view all three episodes. You may have to install iTunes to do so, and if you want to view them outside iTunes an H.264-compatible media viewer - Quicktime 7 or VLC, I think, would work.

Is there any way a UK-based person can, ahem, 'acquire' this? It's not available to us on iTunes.

well I supposed one could look for the torrents. Not that one would. That would be wrong.

I have all three and can upload them to a file sharing site and post the links here if that is so desired. Or you can send me your email by message and I will send you the links that way.

I'd be very grateful, since when I tried to torrent this (from various places) the status stuck on 0% and never moved.

happy to be mailed - will send you a message!
