Fuck off sized London party is GO!
We've got the Islington Bar on Caledonian Road (nearest tube Kings Cross or Caledonian Road) booked for Saturday 13th April (doors open 9pm). It's to raise money for a friend to do voluntary work in Honduras (see the old thread for the full details - the charities involved are Save the Children and I-to-I). It'll be £6.00 on the door to get in, but for your money you'll get DJ sets by Barbelith's own Lyra Lovelaces and Will Wright, as well as Timmy C from No Requests (amongst others). The evening will cover all ground between hip hop, nu skool, breakbeat, funky house and reggae.
It's going to be fucking brilliant: in a very good cause, with some amazing tunes. We need as many of you to come as possible, but we also need help publicising it. Within the next few days we'll have a flyer that you can either print up and photocopy or send for free on e-mail. We need it sent to every London based friend/acquaintance/enemy possible, posted in weird locations, as well as any other forms of publicity you may have access to.
We need your support - we need you all to come - and we need you to tell every last motherfucker in this filthy nation's capital.
