I love how furious and exhilarated he looks in that first picture. As though being able to move one's limbs (innacurately) in so many more directions, suddenly, is both great and terrifying.

I gt back from lunch to find a purple glass vase full of orchids AND a giant fat gift certificate for my local tattoo artist. All from my wonderful thoughtful friends at the florist who I have been helping with office computer issues.

day 4 has just ended and i am so deeply in love with both baby and partner that it is simultaneously a cliche and life-changing. the delirious feelings may have something to do with sleep deprivation too, however! this is the best drug ever...

I made a flannel and minkie (plush velour?) bebe blanket for a friend's incoming wee one. Black minikie and lavender flannel w/multi colored animals and black alphabet letters. washable if not 100% all natural.


Ok so I had to only create four seams on a sewing machine but I did it and it looks great! Not pink or blue but black and lavender! In time for the shower no less!

I think I am more satisfied with the bebe snuggle blanket then my flawless server swap out over the weekend...

I have my new flat sorted. A nice room for a year. Same, good area as now, and with a comfy living room as well. A weight off my mind and I'm moving next week.

Now I am eating a pork, green pepper and cheese sandwich, and having a beer. It is hot and I'm still knackered from my day yesterday so I will sleep well.
