Uh....the guy who looks like Maelstrom is especially funny.

what is myspace? I need context for what I'm seeing.

and I was going to say apocolypse was the funniest, but then I scrolled down and spat a mouthful of vanilla coke over my monitor at maelstrom.

And who knew Longshot would be such a style icon in the 21st century :o

MySpace is like the new version of Friendster, Todd.

At least one of those people has awesome hair that makes them look superhott. All the rest of them are still less in need of a smack than the guy who writes the blog in question.

Jack Denfeld
14:46 / 07.05.04
Which one do you think is super hot? That Raggedy Ann girl?

Regrettable Juvenilia
14:55 / 07.05.04
Nein. Sie mussen meine liebehairer againen geguessen.

By the way, does anyone on Barbelith use MySpace much?

Ethan Hawke
15:04 / 07.05.04
Obviously the "no-really-I-wanted-it-that-way" girl is the superfoxy one. That's always a very ultra foxy haircut.

Matthew Fluxington

I signed up for MySpace recently, but I didn't set anything up.

i'm on myspace, but i'm not into it; i'm more into friendster. i only have like 4 friends or something on myspace. the thing about myspace (vs. friendster, that is), is that strangers will just try to add you as a friend, without even writing you first. it's weird. that's never happened to me on friendster.

i'm going to go shoot myself now for talking about this as much as i just have.

i am going to have to come clean and say that i find the guy who made the list funny and hot. he is my new imaginary boyfriend.

Ha! She said it first. We obviously have the same taste in men.

B-but... he recommends the 'How Was She?' site!

Listen, you should all make Todd your new imaginary boyfriend instead. He always comes correct.

Olulabelle

Indeed. Todd for his blog and paintings, but he doesn't look quite so lovely (I don't know this for sure, since there is no picture of him that I can find...) as the haircut guy.

Oh dear.

After all my whining I find I am an aesthetic person after all. (Because goddam it, that man is LOVELY.)

Todd is my imaginary boyfriend, fo' shizzle.

(ps. I don't think you could really clasify it as a reccomendation, Fly...)

but dude!
totally in a pseudo-liberal, post-ironic, neo-realist kinda way!
how honest!
how gutsy!
how real!

*smell* how real.

At least he's not fashioncore. I applaud their choice. Better him than some guy with sideways hair and girl pants.

This guy spends a lot of time in Williamsburg, no?

Better that than Philadelphia, honey

By the way, Hex makes me wanna like guys again. Almost.

Don't you guys think it's a good sign that the new kiddies resemble Marvel characters?

Rage
05:30 / 08.05.04
No way! Philly kicks ass! Williamsburg doesn't have style anymore. But ya... the guy who made all this is the kid sitting in the corner of a Williamsburg cafe wondering why the hipsters are so mean to him. Check the rest of his journal and you'll see what I mean.

Philippines > Philadelphia.

It's not hip, there are no good haircuts, but it's experiencing spectacle-democracy meltdown. No alcohol is to be sold from midnight tonight until the election is over. I feel like a war correspondent. In a posh hotel.

Yeah, totally. I've said this before, but since people are already doing the "paint flash across one eye", it's just a matter of time before kids start wearing one metal shoulder pad... LIEFIELD STYLE!

He looks like the lovechild of Oberst and Albarn!

And he has a metallic cat on one shoulder. LIEFELD STYLE.

Ethan Hawke
13:48 / 08.05.04
Yeah, I'm not too proud to admit that that guy's a much more suitable imaginary boyfriend than me. I have nowhere near as good hair, and the best I can muster up as a familiar is a plasticine guinea pig.

And anyway, no, the way the kids dress now is NOT A GOOD THING. My ass is too wide for girl pants and my hair is too curly for the sideway thing ergo it is a BAD FASHION.

LIEFELD STYLE.

How much am I loving this phrase?!

"It's sucks! LIEFELD STYLE!"

#11 is "Harry Potter"

pomegranate
21:38 / 08.05.04
"harry potter"? are you kidding?

look, i'm sorry, but i am a goddamn sucker for tall skinny guys w/dark hair, light eyes, and full lips. it's my electra complex. if they have good eyebrows and are funny and smart, i'm fucking gone. if i met one like that who had a british accent, i'd have to roofie him and drag him on the next flight to vegas. i'm sorry, it's just how i am.

Olulabelle
21:48 / 08.05.04
Um...Flyboy, what is 'Pegging?'

Benny the Ball
21:50 / 08.05.04
Never mind the haircuts, have a look at the overdubbed GI Joe stuff, pure gold.

Olulabelle
21:52 / 08.05.04
Forget it.

I've googled it, and I imagine that somehow you're not referring to 'holding prices or exchange rates fixed over some time period' so I guess the definition from the Gay and Black Glossary is the one you are meaning.
