judgment day

alas
20:16 / 22.02.02
hey all--his lordship the judge ruled in our favor today. it's all just amazing and happy and yet tinged with sadness. (FYI, for those who don't know, partner and i were seeking to adopt my nieces/foster daughters, born in England, but who have been living with us these last 8 years, and, after 10 years from the time we began this process, and a whole lot of heartache and stress, we're now legitimized.)

It will still require some legal manoevring--sp?--but we're all breathing a huge sigh of relief tonight. thanks esp. to those who've been thinking of us... alas

Woo-hoo!

I told you that telling the judge that we had pictures of him with his pants on his head at his local boozer would work!

Congratulations!

I'll assume the judge in the pub was pure coincidence and that you in no way nobbled hir that night. :D
