Hey! Dad! *Presses fingers on temples.* Come in Dad!

What's it like then? Spill the beans. Relieve the world of its wondering, once and for all. Tell us everything!

Ah, I took it as being dead. Well, if xxxsarahxxx (is that pronounced with one retch or two?) wants to know about how dying feels, I think a little more definition is required. I feel some Dorothy Parker coming on...

Pick up knife.
Place knife to throat.
Cut.

Ah, bollocks. Sorry, wrong message board.

Doesn't it depend on how one dies, as to how it might feel when does? Or, is the question more about what being dead is like?

Well, I was dead. Now I am undead. I have to say that being dead was a lot like being alive, except a lot quieter.

I imagine one has a brief opportunity to say goodbye to weeping/smiling people, and is then summoned toward a great white doorway which opens to reveal Davina, who leads one past baying crowds and paparazzi, to ask a series of just-off-the-mark questions and show a slightly-cheesy montage of one's 'best bits'.

Death is like Big Brother? So we're all going to hell?

Olulabelle

Or possibly Big Brother is Hell and therefore we're all already dead.

[Image: the physical impossibility of death blah blah]

I reckon dying is like being exhibited in the Saatchi gallery.

That's physically impossible, Fridge. In my mind, anyway.

My Mum always told me it's like that strange fellow who smokes cigarettes while insisting that he's 'not a smoker,' but forever.

Or at least, longer. Mum was never too specific.
