Hesychasm -- any experiences?

Hi all. Does anyone of you have any experiences with hesychasm, ie., the "heart prayer" of Orthodox Christianity? It's basically nothing else than an inhibitory gnosis technique, but I'd like to hear from those who have tried it for longer periods of time.

Haven't heard that word before, but that's a pretty important fundamental method. "The Cloud of Unknowing" was a pretty important text about this for me.
