Culled from the original WoW thread, here lies the home of American Barbecrafters.

We are currently on Ysera server, with an preference/emphasis on Tauren Horde character (to make collective leveling and questing easier on everyone) but are open to pretty much any Horde types.

As of this post we consist of:

myself/ Tarbh, a Tauren druid

Cassandra/ Luvah, also a Tauren druid

gridley/ Kobesatay, a Tauren hunter

mouse/ Angore, a Tauren hunter

There's also an undead warrior who acts our comptroller/treasury secretary by the name of Barbefunds. Try to send him a piece of silver or two, when you can spare it, as the money will go to buying us our guild charter.

Are you a shaman or a druid? I chose druid to offset our little squad. But if you indeed ARE a shapeshifter, then I'll go shaman. I can easily delete and respec.

Plus, the double teleport kicks so much ass you'll cry. Especially since our chosen race doesn't allow for the wacky portals of the magic classes.

Okay gentlemen, I've made it to Thunder Bluff, and I've managed to score some Ragefire Chasm elite quests. Let's make that this weekend's event. Word is it's a min lev 13 thing, so grind til then.

Plus, I'd like help with that mine supervisor's binder... Just too many mobs in there. PST :-)

Get something small to start out with, but we should definately go north and try to hook you up with a bear. Not sure if my or Tarbh's heals will pull the beast's attention off you while you're training it, but it's worth a shot. Bears eat pretty much everything and that makes feeding it easy (that's a lot more important than you'd think)... plus they hold aggro more and let you handle damage dealing.

Jhuuno, my Horde char on CC has been with a wolf for a while, and I wish I could just feed it fish, but he only eats other meat. Which, in Mulgore, means feeding him other wolves. Strange, but true. If bear taming is successful, we can all fish and keep you well stocked between quests.

I'm thinking Ashenvale — east side — for the bear. If the hit points are too high, we could try for Darkshore, but there's the risk of guard aggro.

Cats are great for dps, and eat fish! but you should see this. Comprehensive!

Let's meet at the Crossroads in the Barrens. Decent quests there and not too high end.

Stoatie wants pics. So we should finally get all four of us online at the same time and have a some pics taken of our hunting parties in Kalimerica. It's kind of cute that the (living) Horde start zones are reminiscent of the American West.

But I do have some pics... and here's the reason I've not been in Ysera.

I heard from The Instance podcast that female players really enjoy hunters; I decided to try one out. It IS a lot of fun, as Kobe and Peanut will tell you.

This is Jhuuno. I would have preferred to put an apostrophe in her name, but for some reason, Blizzard decided against that. Unfortunate really, because Troll names are all apostrophe'd. So much for consistency.

Initially, I had some reservations about playing as female, as I identified with Urth, my main. But a few levels in, you foreget who and what you're playing, and you're just focussed on doing the jobs at hand.

And I've become a bit of a Warcraft Freak, and created a bevy of alts, just to find out about the different aspects, like "shadow-form", Felsteeds, and why-girls-like-hunters... Here's my team:

Is Angore your main, Mouse? I'm not gonna play Luvah unless I know one of you is on. So I'd be motivated to set a time we can do this thing. I'm ... sorry to say it ... more interested in the developments of the characters I've got on CC. Luvah's my teamwork char, and I was hoping we'd all try to discover how each class can complement the others in parties. Like a mini guild.

That's MY intention at least. Am I a bad person?

No -- I've just been enjoying that character more than my dwarf pally that's all. However, my dwarf has been resting for about a fortnight now, so he'll be fun to play again.
