Exams and books have kept me from sleep, although this isn't bad - I don't weep.

Does anyone else feel that going a considerable stretch on minimal sleep actually results in an increase in general alertness/activity which makes the eventual crash and burn of unconsciousness all the more crashy and burny? It's a vicious cyclical conspiracy those shifty, squirmy shadowy buggers've going.
