Ya know Kali, Keggers and I were discussing the very same thing just a couple of nights ago, I believe during one of the episodes of Miami CSI. He just can't act at all. It is so very sad. Every damn line this guy delivers is done in exactly the same manner - with the least amount of imagination.

Bah. What the hell were they thinking? Caruso makes Shatner look like Hopkins!

Anyway, thank you so much for the giggle, A Bigger Boat. I think three are a lot of us who are sympathetic to your cause.

Nice work!
I think what makes him more ridiculous is the way Caruso gave up speaking in CSI: Miami and now just attempts to purr everything he says.
I reckon he thinks it makes him sound menacing, but instead he just sounds stupid.
