Steve Bell

Not Here Still

16:32 / 13.08.01

Don't know if this should be art, switchboard, or conversation, but I think the guy is a true artist.

Where is Steve Bell? Has he been sacked from the Guardian, or is he just taking a few month's well earned holiday?

I know the Guardian has sacked people for political humour before, such as Mark Steel and Jeremy Hardy, and I'm just curious is all.

Anyone know?

Never shying away from the tough stories, is he? I found this such a powerful image I thought I'd share it.

Steve Bell often gets a "little break" from the Guardian (I think that when his stuff gets a bit much they opt of the easier, softer option) but he always comes back, always.

I think the explanation might be that he is actually on holiday.
