Ok, that seems too boring.

The other thing I did today was that I hired a goat from the appropriate agency, and failed to make a mask of the beasts skin. I did not, suitably covered in gore, go to a shopping centre and start blasting. Instead, me and the goat (the goat existing perhaps only in a notional sense) drank gin and played GTA. SA. Word.

Currently? Not a shitting clue, to be honest Trips. I've been trying to salvage a stinker of a plot for about a month now, and the deadline is approaching (Noon Tuesday) and I haven't written a word of the actual script. I'm wracking my brains trying to come up with another story to force the characters into.

I can't scrap everything, because we've been building up a portfolio for the course, and some continuity is required through the development stuff.

I've got an idea, Kali, you should start a rejection letter collection. Get yourself a file folder and set a goal for yourself, such as: I'll get seven rejection letters in seven weeks. In other words, make the rejection letter a happy thing to look forward to. As I understand it, the key is to keep writing and getting stuff out there.

Of course this is coming from somebody who never got a rejection letter in my life. But that's just because I've never submitted anything.

Those comments sound promising, by the way.

I like Neil in small doses. I actually really enjoyed that "Midnight Days" collection of old Swamp Thing stories he did. "Smoke & Mirrors" was a good story collection as well. But I can only read so much before it gets a bit repetitive. But you can say that about any writer, really.
