Southland Tales

Anyone seen this yet? Utterly baffling yet oddly emtertaining. And Buffy's in it.

I couldn't figure out what was going on for 80% of the film and had to go on the net afterwards to fully comprehend it. Then again, that's what happened when I watched Donnie Darko.

Richard Kelly seems to be fairly uncompromising for someone working in Hollywood. I wonder if he'll be able to carry on making such wilfully cryptic movies?

Hello, search function. So glad to know you.

I'm new here, so didn't see the search function -- wouldn't it be nice if it was at the top?

Yeah, sorry about that. The search function is pretty much useles, and well-hidden, so not using it is understandable. It also doesn't work very well. Your best bet is to go to google, or googlonymous, and search with the modifier site:http://www.barbelith.com

Thanks for taking the time to help a newbie -- as opposed to deploying sarcasm like some!

Oh, I weep hot, bitter tears.

In the meantime, I've pointed you towards both a relevant thread AND a rudimentary search function. And this—this is how you thank me.

Tch. Kids these days.

I'll move to lock this before it descends into toolishness.

OH NOES! TOO LATE!

etc.
