I'm going to (koff koff) a Volkswagen festival straight after work in the morning (hate cars, personally, but one of my mates is a huge Beetle fan, and, as I love sitting in fields drinking booze and have barely left London in a year, I'm going with him.)
If you can be arsed, then please think nice weather thoughts for me, as it's just not the same if your boozing is confined to a tent!
And play nice while I'm gone.

Heres to good weather on your outting. Hopefully the fest people look upon owners of the New Beetles with as much disdain as I do. Does your friend have New Beetle or Beetle Classic?

...I'm a classic beetle lover myself...dad has a bus pickup, an old bug and a new one. A bit over the top I do agree but there's harmony to be found. These events are usually a good time. Lots of people smiling...if there's any Jon Muir illustrations on any t-shirts, do yourself a favor and look at them, pick one up.

I think they look like some goober tried to redraw the old one on his PC and tahdah!!! I mean c'mon! they have the engine in the back...the boot where the bonnet shoud be!!

what's your idea of nice weather, stoatie? i'm assuming that mine's -clear skies and freezing temperatures - probably different to yours so i'll concentrate on warmth and stuff.

have a great time - but if you see an old man with a big beard shouting a lot, say hello - it'll be my uncle. he loves this kind of thing.
