Exercises for beginners?

Any have any ideas of exercises I can do to develop my magickal self? Suggestions of all shapes and sizes are welcome. My mind is wide open.

Useful Techniques for a Well-Rounded Sorceror . This is a good thread to read through. Lots of useful rituals, techiniques, and the like are discussed.

Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram . Just a basic banishing ritual, but it's a useful thing to know.
